A spread of Valentine's comfort food for our daughter

Guest post written by Mary Handler
I was so glad that my daughter was able to make it home for Valentine's Day this year from college, well the weekend before anyway. The past few years she's chosen to spend Valentine's Day away at school because her boyfriend's there. But they broke up right before winter break and I'm honestly glad about that. So it was just a bonus that she came home on a weekend where she wouldn't have otherwise.
But she was kind of down since she's had a boyfriend over the past few Valentine's Days. So i thought that I would fix us a holiday dinner full of comfort food for the occasion to cheer her up. I found all kinds of recipes with my satellitestarinternet.com/, so many that I had a hard time choosing which ones.
I decided on some buffalo wings, baked macaroni and cheese, and all kinds of other things. I was most excited about my chocolate mousse that I made for dessert though. I think everyone agreed that I did a really great job on them.

FOOTBALL FAMILY

Guest post of the week by Nestor Nielsen
Fall is a really busy time for my family like I’m sure it is for all of yours. My kids both play fall sports and between shuttling them back and forth from track to football I get really worn out by the end of the day! I love the weather here this time of year though and I’m actually a pretty big runner so there are never better days to go for a long run than in Autumn. It’s also when a lot of the half marathons around here are scheduled, obviously, so I’m usually working towards a goal of some sort. It’s been tougher this year because in March I found some dish network dealsand I’ve been watching too much TV and not spending enough time running which has made me grossly out of shape! I don’t know how well I’m going to time but I’m still going to keep training and give it all my best this year. That’s all I can do and I think it’s pretty good I’m still running at my age!
